MCP100 Microcontroller Supervisory and Reset CircuitThe Microchip MCP100 microcontroller supervisory circuit is designed to keep a microcontroller in reset until the system voltage has reached the proper level and stabilized. It operates on 1V to 5.5V voltage range. It also operates as protection from brown-out conditions when the supply voltage drops below a safe operating level. This supervisor has a CMOS Push-Pull output with Active Low reset and is available in a choice of seven different trip voltages.Holds microcontroller in reset until supply voltage reaches stable operating levelResets microcontroller during power lossActive low RESET pinPush-pull outputHolds RESET for 350ms (typical)RESET voltage (Vtrip) range between 4.5V to 4.75VAccuracy of +(-)125mV for 5V systems and +(-)75mV for 3V systems over temp45uA typical operating currentTemperature range between -40°C and 85°C3-lead TO-92 package with 'H' bondoutSupervisory & Reset Circuits - Microchip
