These capacitors provide a convenient technique for fine RF and microwave circuits by eliminating abrasive trimming, interchange of fixed capacitors, and cut and try adjustment techniques. The Giga-Trim® capacitors can handle excessive tuning, soldering heat, and rough handling. These capacitors feature a patented self-locking constant torque drive mechanism that eliminates the need for external bushing slots offering significant performance improvements.
