The vacuum gauge is filled with glycerin inside. The glycerin pressure gauge differs from standard pressure gauges with an interior filled with glycerin, which secures and protects the pointer against vibrations and oscillations.

Glycerine also allows you to increase the level of measurement accuracy.

It has a plug to equalize the pressure inside the manometer with the atmospheric pressure.
