The sliding pad is mounted in the upper, fixed part of the loader arm. It fits into the slide-in housing, which uses a profiled notch to keep it in the right position. This ensures that the extendable part of the telescope is pressed correctly against the fixed part while maintaining the necessary assembly clearance.
