When replacing mouldboards and slats, the screws should be tightened alternately to avoid tension and eventual breakage of the working elements. Cardboard pads should be used to compensate for dimensional differences at the mouldboard and chest and to avoid tension. Bolts and nuts should not be tightened with a pneumatic tool, as this may lead to damage to the working part (tension cracks).
