MP171A Offline Regulators Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP171A Offline Regulators are primary-side regulators that provide accurate Constant Voltage (CV) regulation without an optocoupler. These regulators lower the peak current and switching frequency as the load decreases that offers excellent efficiency at the light load and improves the overall efficiency. The MP171A regulators feature thermal shutdown, VCC under-voltage lockout, overload protection, short-circuit protection, and open-loop detection. These regulators integrate 700V MOSFET that optimizes the device for offline low-power applications such as home appliances and standby power. The MP171A regulators support buck, boost, buck-boost, and flyback topologies. These regulators are available in TSOT23-5 and SOIC-8 packages.
