LM25185/LM25185-Q1 PSR Flyback DC-DC Controller Texas Instruments LM25185/LM25185-Q1 PSR Flyback DC-DC Controller is a primary-side regulated (PSR) flyback controller with high efficiency over a voltage range of 4.5V to 42V. The isolated output voltage is sampled from the primary-side flyback voltage. This feature eliminates the need for a voltage reference, optocoupler, or third winding from the transformer for output voltage regulation. The high level of integration results in a reliable, high-density, and simple design with only a transformer crossing the isolation barrier. Boundary conduction mode (BCM) switching enables a compact magnetic design, performing better than ±1.5% load and line regulation. BCM supports up to 42V input applications with enhanced headroom for line transients.
