L6566BH Multi-Mode Controller The STMicroelectronics L6566BH multi-mode controller is a highly versatile current-mode primary controller IC specifically designed for high-performance offline flyback converters. Both Fixed-Frequency and Quasi-Resonant operation are supported by the L6566BH multi-mode controller. This STMicroelectronics device features an externally programmable oscillator that defines the converter's switching frequency in FF mode and the maximum allowed switching frequency in QR mode. The L6556BH is designed for offline flyback converters where a front-end PFC is not expected.
