HR41 Circular Waterproof Connectors Hirose HR41 Circular Waterproof Connectors are IP68 rated, plastic-shelled connectors designed to provide advanced reliability and high power use in harsh, outdoor environments. The HR41 series consists of bayonet locking, cable mount plugs, and panel mount receptacles with the capacity to handle up to 20A (Amps). Optimized for easy field assembly with a market commodity crimp tool, a visual and tactile raised mating indicator on the plug and receptacle aid the mating operation in dark conditions. In one simultaneous step, users can clamp the cable and seal the waterproof gasket without additional tooling. The anti-loosening mechanism ensures the tightening ring securing the cable will not come loose during operation. HR41's sequential contact structure is designed to connect the ground contact before the power contacts during the mating process as an additional safety measure. In addition, the lightweight housing is resistant to harsh environmental conditions, such as sunshine (tested with 2000h), salt spray (tested with 1500h), and water intrusion (IP68 rated). HR41 is also resistant to 15kV lightning surges due to the special wall structure.
