Mating is completed simply by pushing the plug onto the receptacle. Unmating the connector is done by rotating the locking collar to release the lock then pulling it apart. The mating guide keys are provided at 3 points to prevent contact damage and also provide ability to blind mate these connectors when needed. The HR08D waterproof structure supports IP67 and IP68 ratings while in the mated condition. These Hirose connectors also provide adjustable cable direction.
