These CoolSplice splice connectors have two independent push buttons on the left and right side of the connector. The wires can be terminated independently allowing ease of use and flexibility in factory or field installation. When squeezed with pliers the push buttons terminate the wires by inserting them into an IDC crimp contact. This IDC technology eliminates the need to pre-strip wires and saves installation time. The clear body of these CoolSplice connectors enables visual inspection of the connection and the push buttons are colour coded to aid wire size identification.
