These Positive Lock 110 Mark III crimp receptacles have a fast connect and disconnect action and a low insertion and withdrawal force. The mating tabs can be smoothly and easily inserted and removed with minimal damage. These Positive Lock receptacles feature a positive locking system that ensures easy mating and a good mechanical locking force. A spring on the receptacle engages with a ramp in the connector housing and prevents disconnection when the wire is pulled. A locking latch on the receptacle engages in a locking hole in the mating tab terminal for a secure connection. When the tab is inserted into the receptacle an audible ’snap’ is produced to confirm a secure connection.
