These SMD optically isolated solid-state relays (OISSR) are capable of switching the 4.5A IL due in part to the extremely low Ron. Because the power dissipated in its junctions is equal to IL2 x Ron, the relays can switch a noticeable amount of electrical power in a small package, even without heat-sinking.
