The standard on-board power supply in mobile homes and caravans is designed for 12V battery power only. Without an external power connection, your vehicle's home sockets are useless. Thanks to the inverter, they can also be used without shore power. The Berger sine-wave inverter generates the same output voltage as that coming from the socket at home.
