SmartShuntSmart battery shuntThe SmartShunt shunt is a one-piece battery monitor, but without a display. Your mobile phone acts as the display. SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect application on your phone (or tablet), so you can conveniently read all monitored battery parameters, i.e. charge status, remaining operating time, historical data, and more.

SmartShunt can also be connected to the device GX, which can also be read. The SmartShunt connection is made with a VE.Direct cable.

SmartShunt is a good alternative to the BMV battery monitor, especially in systems where battery monitoring is necessary, but excessive cables would create unnecessary clutter.

SmartShunt is equipped with a Bluetooth system, VE.Direct port and a socket that can be used to: monitor a second battery, monitor a waypoint, or connect a temperature sensor.

The shunt and electrical wiring negatively

impact the range of the Bluetooth signal.

The resulting range of 10-15 meters is, however,

satisfactory in most cases. Proximity to other conductive components, such as the metal undercarriage of a vehicle or seawater around a boat's hull, may reduce the range of the Bluetooth signal to an unacceptable level. In this case, the solution is to add

and disable the Bluetooth function on your device
