Photovoltaic panels are a clean and ecological source of electricity. Obtaining this energy, however, poses a number of challenges to device designers. The amount of energy produced by the panel is strongly dependent on the angle of incidence and the intensity of light falling on the surface of the cells. This, in turn, leads to unstable power parameters at the output, because even shading a small part of the panel may result in a drastic reduction in efficiency.

The optimal solution to the above-mentioned problems is to use a set consisting of a photovoltaic panel, a battery and a charging controller. This set allows you to ensure constant power supply parameters for receivers, and also store excess energy produced for later use.

The SCC-30A-PWM-LCD-S2 solar controller allows you to connect panels connected to each other both in series and in parallel - remembering not to exceed the permissible current and voltage values at the device input. Due to the operating characteristics of PWM controllers, remember that when the panels are connected in series, the rated voltage at the output intended for charging the battery is 24V.

Attention! Solar controllers are designed to work with photovoltaic panels. They should not be used with other power sources.
