New: Intelligent battery monitoring and disconnection prevention. Some battery connectors disconnect the battery in the event of a short but high current load. The battery coupler may also not allow you to connect a large but discharged battery because the DC voltage immediately drops below the shutdown value when the batteries are connected. The Cyrix-i software not only connects and disconnects based on battery voltage, but also looks at the overall trend (voltage rising or falling) and only reverses the previous action if the trend has reversed within a specified period of time. The time delay depends on the trend deviation voltage.

No voltage loss. Cyrix battery connectors are an excellent replacement for diode isolators. The main feature is that they have virtually no voltage losses, so there is no need to increase the output voltage of alternators or chargers.

Priority for the starter battery. In a typical configuration, the alternator is directly connected to the starting battery. The auxiliary battery is connected to the starter battery using Cyrix battery connectors. When the Cyrix senses that the starter battery has reached the connecting voltage, it will turn on to allow the parallel connection to charge other batteries.

Bi-directional voltage sensing and power supply from both batteries. Cyrix senses the voltage of both connected batteries. It will therefore also become involved if, for example, the auxiliary battery is charged by the charger. Cyrix-i has a dual power supply. Therefore, it will also close if the voltage on one battery is too low. To prevent unexpected operation during installation or when one battery is disconnected, Cyrix-i will not shut down if the voltage at one of the two battery connections is lower than 2V (12V battery) or 4V (24V battery) or 8V (battery 48 May).
