The Puekert formula, an advanced algorithmic function, determines the exact state of battery charge. Depending on the current need, the display shows information on battery voltage, current, ampere-hours consumed and the time remaining until full discharge. An additional advantage is easy connection with the components provided in the set. The BMV700 set includes: control panel, shunt, and connection kit. The charge indicator is not everything: The remaining capacity of the battery depends on the ampere-hours used, discharge current, temperature and age of the battery. The ALGORIT complex of HMS software is needed to take all these variables into account. In addition to basic display options such as voltage, current and amp-hour consumption, the BMV-700 series also displays state of charge and power consumption in watts. The BMV-702 has an additional input that can be programmed to measure voltage (battery seconds), temperature or midpoint voltage. Management by phone and Victron Connect application: The 712 model is additionally equipped with a BlueTooth interface.
