What does the warranty of Growatt inverters look like?

Due to the information reaching us that there are incidents regarding the sale of Growatt inverters from Chinese distribution in Poland, Growatt New Energy decided to issue a statement. In addition, in this article we will remind you of the terms and conditions of the warranty for the products we offer.

STATEMENT OF GROWATT NEW ENERGY TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. ABOUT THE WARRANTY OF INVERTERS PURCHASED FROM CHINESE DISTRIBUTIONGROWATT New Energy Technology CO., Ltd. hereby confirms that only EU version inverters that come from official GROWATT distributors in the European Union have the standard EU warranty.

EU version inverters will have a label with the 'Authorized representative in EU' logo.

Inverters that come from China or other district dealers are not approved for installation in EU countries.

This is because these inverters:

Do not meet EU country standards such as CEI, VDE, EN50549. Therefore, they cannot be connected to the local network.

There is a risk that they are damaged.

They will not have the GROWATT UE warranty.

GROWATT will operate in accordance with the warranty conditions contained in the warranty card, which is included in the inverter packaging in the EU version.

WARRANTY PERIOD FOR THE PRODUCTS WE OFFER For inverters purchased from Growatt, we receive a standard ten-year warranty for network models from 1kW to 20kW and a five-year warranty for network models from 22kW to 250kW. If the inverter is replaced, the warranty period is not recalculated from the moment the complaint model is issued. The SPF5000ES island inverter has a two-year warranty.
