3-phase 8kW 2 MPPT hybrid inverter Growatt MOD 8000 TL3-XH (BACK UP) Three-phase hybrid photovoltaic inverters belonging to the new generation of inverters (X-Series). The letter H in the model means it is a hybrid.
The Growatt MOD 10KTL3-XH hybrid inverter works with the Growatt ARK XH energy storage system, i.e. a high-voltage battery system with a BDC controller (Bidirectional DC/DC Box). To start hybrid operation, the inverter requires a minimum of three battery modules, but it will support as many as 10 battery modules, i.e. the energy storage capacity can range from 7.68 kWh to 25.6 kWh. In this configuration, the inverter increases self-consumption without having an emergency power option.
However, emergency power supply is possible if we use batteries from the APX HV series, where one battery module has a capacity of 5 kWh and cooperates with the same charge/discharge controller - BDC (Bidirectional DC/DC Box). The APX HV series allows you to connect from 1 to 6 battery modules, which gives us a storage capacity of 5 to 30 kWh. An essential device for emergency power supply will also be Growatt SYN-50-XH-30 (Backup Box), i.e. automation that allows us to disconnect our electrical installation from the network and enable full use of batteries.
A huge advantage of the presented equipment is the AFCI function, i.e. detection and immediate extinguishing of electric arcs that may occur on improperly prepared connectors or when poor-quality connection materials wear out. An electric arc is an extremely dangerous phenomenon because it can cause a fire in the installation and, consequently, a threat to our house or other building.
Works with devices for monitoring the operation of photovoltaic installations: WiFi-X / LAN-X / ShineLink-X / GPRS-X.
