      FLEXITERM® Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM® Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are designed to enhance the mechanical flexure and temperature cycling performance of a standard ceramic capacitor with an X7R dielectric. The FLEXITERM technology meets the demand for components with enhanced mechanical strength and flexibility when used in harsh environment applications, such as automobiles, and in applications where temperature variation exists. KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM MLCCs provide up to 5mm of flexure without internal cracks, 3mm above the 2mm industry standard. In addition, these advanced MLCCs reduce circuit board flex failures and offer increased temperature cycling performance of 3,000 cycles and beyond, a base metal electrode system, and automotive and commercial grade product selections.
