Dekalin Dekaseal 1512 butyl sealant Do you need the best sealant for a roof window, mast or other elements intensively exposed to UV radiation and rain? The best solution is Dekalin Dekaseal 1512
Description: Butyl sealant Color: White
Application: Roof windows, antennas, roof strips and all other elements on the roof Substrates: Lacquered surfaces, aluminum, ABS, PMMA, wood Features: Very low water permeability, can be painted, free from aromatic solvents. The sealant is very flexible when applied, we suggest leaving an excess as it creates a protective 'skin' giving even greater resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation.
An ideal solution for roof applications where there is greater exposure to light without the need to remove excess sealant. Dekalin Dekaseal 1512 sealant is a more 'sticky' product when initially applied (compared to Dekaseal 8936), but after a few days it 'skins' and creates a harder joint. We can also use this sealant for all applications where we want to obtain an aesthetic joint, i.e. immediately after application it can be formed like sanitary silicone. We recommend using this sealant in places where it is not necessary to remove excess product, e.g. roof elements, roof windows, visible joints.
