These diodes provide fast switching with virtually no switching losses. This is accomplished by high-frequency operation and temperature-independent switching behavior. These Wolfspeed devices also offer the ability to parallel devices without thermal runaway, reducing heat sink requirements. Unipolar Z-Rec SiC Schottky Diodes can replace bipolar rectifiers and are ideal for use in switch-mode power supplies, power factor correction, and motor drives. These 650V Rectifier Diodes are offered in 12A (C3D12065) and 16A (C3D16065A) versions and come in TO-220-2 packages.
