HMC460 Low Noise Distributed Amplifiers Analog Devices HMC460 GaAs pHEMT MMIC Low Noise Distributed Amplifiers operate between direct current and 20GHz. These gallium arsenide (GaAs) amplifiers feature monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC) and pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistors (pHEMT). These amplifiers are used in telecom infrastructure, microwave radio, and Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite systems. The amplifiers provide 14dB of gain, 2.5dB noise figure, and +16dBm of output power at 1dB gain compression while requiring only 60mA from a +8V supply. HMC460 amplifiers can be integrated into Multi-Chip Modules (MCMs) because of their small size. The HMC460 is available in die packages. HMC460LC5 amplifiers come in a leadless 5mm x 5mm ceramic surface mount package.
