    Description
FRED Pt® Gen4 Recovery Diodes Vishay Semiconductors FRED Pt® Gen4 Recovery Diodes are engineered for use with Vishay Trench IGBTs. These FRED Pt ultra-fast diodes are available in 600V and 650V variants to reduce conduction losses and increase efficiency. The recovery diodes are available in 'U' and 'H' variants. The U series provides low forward voltage down to 1.4V for 600V diodes and are optimized to deliver high speeds for higher frequency applications. The H series offers reverse recovery times down to 25ns with low typical forward voltages down to 1.65V for 600V devices. Typical applications for Vishay Semiconductors FRED Pt Gen4 Recovery Diodes include high-frequency converters in power modules, motor drives, solar inverters, DC/DC converters, boosters, choppers, and more.
