The rectifiers offer low forward voltage, low power loss, and low thermal resistance. The Fred Pt® devices offer increased power density by providing high current ratings typically reserved for the SMA (DO-214AC) package. These include a low forward voltage drop that reduces power losses and improves efficiency. This series is also ideal for automated placement, allowing for automated optical inspection (AOI) in automotive systems. These rectifiers are available in a surface-mounted DO-220AA package with a low 1.0mm profile (typical). Vishay eSMP SMP Fast Recovery Rectifiers are available in standard and AEC-Q101-qualified versions.
