HE1G Three-position Grip Switches IDEC HE1G Three-position Grip Switches are designed for use as deadman switches by second operators in robotic cells. These grip switches are available with or without a built-in Emergency Stop switch. The ergonomically-designed Off-On-Off three-position functionality provides a high level of safety. This is designed based on human behavioral studies, which determine personnel may squeeze or let go when confronted with a panic situation. The switch does not turn ON when being released from position 3 (OFF when pressed) to position 1 (OFF when released). The HE1G grip switches come with removable strain relief, E-Stop built-in (optional), and IP66 degree of protection (watertight). These grip switches also meet relevant ANSI RIA robotics standards.
