ADR twisted trailer plug 15-pin 24V A universal 15-pin plug designed to connect and power the 24V electrical system in semi-trailers, heavy-duty trailers and other heavy vehicles.

It ensures a permanent connection of the semi-trailer's electrical installation with the towing vehicle (e.g. tractor unit), ensuring the implementation of all lighting functions and additional functions such as the axle lifting mechanism, brake pad wear sensor, or hydraulic brake indicator.

The 15-pin connector is a modern system used by many renowned truck manufacturers as part of the original factory equipment. It is increasingly replacing older generations of 7-pin N and S type connectors. The product meets the requirements of ADR applications for the transport of dangerous goods.

Transport of hazardous materials ADR Transport of hazardous materials (e.g. flammable) in road transport is determined by appropriate regulations. They are defined by ADR, i.e. the international convention concerning the transport of dangerous goods.

The ADR agreement describes in detail the rules for transporting hazardous materials, indicating the conditions under which it is to be carried out, and includes provisions on packaging, cargo securing and marking of hazardous substances.

In Poland, the transport of hazardous materials is allowed only by qualified persons who meet the requirements of the Transport and Road Traffic Act and have completed an ADR course ending with an exam.

In road transport in countries covered by the ADR agreement, vehicles carrying dangerous substances should be equipped with appropriate equipment and marked with standardized ADR plates.
