RS-485 Evaluation Boards Bourns RS-485 Evaluation Boards aid in evaluating circuit protection on RS-485 Serial Device Ports using TBU® High-Speed Protectors (HSPs), Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs), Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diodes and Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV) products. As part of the Bourns TBU HSP device solution with a low capacitance GDT, the RS-485 Evaluation Boards enable design engineers to increase the surge and transient protection level on RS-485 ports and house the entire circuit protection solution in a reduced PCB area.
