    Description
    VOD3120Ax IGBT & MOSFET Drivers Vishay VOD3120Ax IGBT and MOSFET Drivers are 2.5A minimum peak output current isolated drivers with increased efficiency for the inverter stages. These drivers employ an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. The VOD3120Ax drivers incorporate a rail-to-rail output stage. These drivers offer low voltage drop on its output at 3.5mA low current consumption that increases the efficiency in inverter stages. The VOD3120Ax drivers are suited for driving 1200V/100A-rated IGBTs. These drivers also feature Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) hysteresis that protects from malfunction. The VOD3120Ax drivers employ common mode transient immunity that reduces noise issues from high to low voltage areas on the PCB. Typical applications include AC and brushless DC motor drives, induction stove tops, industrial inverters, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
