The Mini-SAS HD standards increase linear board density while doubling the maximum per-port aggregate bandwidth. All board connector systems are fully compliant to SAS 2.1 and proposed SAS 3.0, allowing users to seamlessly move from SAS 2.1 to SAS 3.0 without any part number or design changes. Both systems are terminated to the PCB via eye-of-the-needle terminations in a single-step process.
