The N25Q0x NOR FLASH memory devices can double or quadruple the transfer bandwidth for READ and PROGRAM operations. This is made possible by the innovative, high-performance, dual/quad input/output instructions. Software can write-protect these memory devices through volatile and nonvolatile protection features, depending on the application's needs. The protection granularity is 64KB (sector granularity) for volatile protections.
