CONTACTRON Speed Motor Starters/Frequency Drives Phoenix Contact CONTACTRON Speed Motor Starters/Frequency Drives offer the ability to control motor ramp-up/downtimes while operating under torque with two user-selectable output speeds from 0 to 500Hz. An integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) function provides emergency stop capabilities up to SIL3/PLe when used with a suitable safety relay or safe PLC. Activation/deactivation occurs via a simple two-channel digital input with no additional programming required. A rotary knob and pushbutton interface allow rapid commissioning without software or a computer. The 35mm bookcase form factor reduces cabinet space requirements compared to conventional frequency drives, while optional integrated EMC filters reduce harmful harmonic emissions. Available with single- and three-phase input options, the Phoenix Contact CONTACTRON Speed Motor Starters/Frequency Drives are designed to work with three-phase asynchronous motors with up to 2HP.
