1. Insert the battery into the box and press the key to turn on the meter.2. Press the button to select the element to be tested: the moisture of the grain being tested or the temperature of the grain into which the probe is inserted. When measuring grain moisture, xx.x% will be displayed on the meter screen, and when measuring the temperature of grain inserted into the probe, xx x°C will be displayed on the meter screen. The meter's default setting is to measure grain moisture when it is turned on.3. Grain moisture measurement: make sure the meter is in the grain moisture display status, press the key to select the grain category to test (the grain category is indicated on the screen as 1, 2, 3, 4, where 1 is wheat, 2, 3 and 4 stands for rice, paddy and corn). Insert the probe into the grain you are measuring to measure the grain moisture, and the meter will display the grain moisture on the screen. Press the key, the screen displays 'MAX' and the meter is in the max hold state
