Intended use / application

The hygrometer is used to determine the humidity level of such materials such as: brickwork and walls (relative humidity), softwood and hardwood products.

How to use

Turn on the device by pressing the switch, wait until the indication appears on the display.

Use the scroll buttons to select the appropriate type of material to be tested. Place the device so that the sensor sticks to the material being tested. The display will show. Additionally, the LED display will show an approximate comparison scale. The green area

(0-30% for masonry and wall, 5-13% for wood) indicates that the tested material is dry, orange area (31-70% for masonry and wall

15-17% for wood) indicates that the humidity is in the range of average values, red (above 70% for masonry and walls, above 18% for wood) indicates that the humidity is high. If the measurement range is exceeded, an acoustic warning signal will be emitted. For walls and masonry, the alarm is activated when the reading is above 70%, for wood above 18%. Since the device is measuring all the time, if you want to save the reading on the screen, press the "HOLD" button, this will be confirmed by the appearance of a padlock symbol. on the LCD display and the display value will stop changing. The indication remains on the display until the "HOLD" button is pressed again or until the instrument turns off automatically.
