Simmering the shaft of the angle box seals the rotational movement of the output shaft. It is made of oil and aging resistant material. A damaged seal may lead to oil leakage. This may result in damage to the bearings and gears in the angle box.

Remember to top up the gear oil.

Position 34 in the diagram.
