Don't be fooled by cheap sets! In cheap sets, the monitors have ordinary feet glued to the dashboard with adhesive tape, so driving a car on an uneven surface may cause the monitor to detach and cause an accident, they also have a twice lower image resolution of 400x200, which may make the view from the camera seem blurry. They have a 12V power supply, which when connected to a truck may pose a risk of fire in the car, and incorrect installation (connecting to a higher voltage) will void the warranty. Cheap cameras, apart from the fact that they can only operate on 12V vehicles, often lose their tightness after a few months, and the water condensing inside causes corrosion of the electronics and fogging of the lens.
