These ICs feature fixed output voltage and externally adjustable output voltage types. The minimum output voltage can be set from 1.4V. These Nisshinbo ICs include a voltage reference unit, an error amplifier, a resistor net for setting output voltage, current-limit circuits to prevent over-current, and a thermal-shutdown circuit. A standby mode with ultra-low supply current can be realized with the chip enable function. Additionally, the E/F version offers a delay pin for the inrush current limit time setting. The packages for these ICs are a small DFN(PLP)1820-6 (for high-density mounting), SOT-89-5, HSOP-6J, and TO-252-5-P2 for high wattage.
