A fixed output voltage of 0.6V to 5V supports the lower core voltages of modern microcontrollers and provides minimised cost and solution size. The device offers an internal soft-start to lower inrush current offering a controlled voltage to the load and minimising the input voltage drop during start up. The device actively pulls down the output to quickly discharge the outputs and ensure a known start-up state when shut down.
