Software migration from previous generation PSE devices is simplified by port remapping, and the device pinout allows designers to enable 2-layer PCB designs. Designers can further balance size, efficiency, thermal, and solution cost requirements with the external FET architecture. The Fast Shutdown (OSS) input provides up to eight levels per port shutdown priority, ideal for applications requiring immediate disabling of multiple ports.
