Product description: Gas springs are simple sliding elements composed of a cylinder filled with pressurized nitrogen and a piston rod. The gas pressure is adjusted to the weight of the element with which the spring is to cooperate. They have different lengths, travel speeds and operating force, depending on the system in which they work. The task of gas springs is to reduce the force needed to lift, hold and lower structural elements such as trunk lids or engine covers. They support their opening, and after reaching the appropriate angle, they lock in the desired position. Gas springs for doors and windows are also used in vehicles.
