TSC42xx Portable CODEC Tempo Semiconductor TSC42xx Portable CODEC is a low-power, high-fidelity integrated CODEC with 24-bit stereo playback and stereo record functionality. In addition to a high-fidelity low-power CODEC, this device integrates the speaker amplifier and true cap-less headphone amplifier. The digital audio data interface (I2S) works in primary or secondary mode and supports left / right justified, DSP, and TDM modes. Tempo Semiconductor TSC42xx Portable CODEC offers an enriched audio presence through a built-in audio output processing DSP engine (AOP). The AOP supports 12 bands of EQ, psychoacoustic bass, and treble enhancement, 3D stereo enhancement, and dynamic range controller to support multiband compressor / limiter capability.
