LX34070 Inductive Position Sensors Microchip Technology LX34070 Inductive Position Sensors are analog front-end interface ICs that integrate an exciter circuit for controlling external LC oscillators. Here, the inductance (L) of the external tank circuit is the primary coil of an inductive sensor formed by wire traces on a printed circuit board (PCB). The signals generated from two magnetically coupled secondary coils are the analog position input signals to the LX34070 devices. The received signals that vary depending on the position of metallic targets are processed by the LX34070 sensors to extract the amplitudes from the high-frequency carrier.
