AS-AF-AX hydraulic accumulators have an elastomeric diaphragm which is a gas-liquid separator. Less deformation of the membrane results in greater durability. It is also possible to replace the membrane.

AS series hydroaccumulators are made of two carbon steel hemispheres screwed together. Between the hemispheres there is an elastomeric membrane with a metal insert enabling sudden and complete emptying of the hydraulic accumulator of oil. This insert eliminates the risk of damaging the membrane. The type of elastomer and protective coating used determines the permitted working fluids. By default, it is mineral hydraulic oil, but the battery can be adapted to work with water, diesel oil, gasoline or even ethylene oxide. AX hydraulic accumulators can be used for the most corrosive liquids. ARCOR® anti-corrosion coating is available on request. AF hydroaccumulators operate at low temperatures and high pressures - up to 500 bar.
