COUNTERBALANCE HYDRAULIC VALVE 'LOCK' VBCD 3/4' FOR DOUBLE-ACTING CYLINDER Production:
Original product of the Hydrolider brand, symbol: 1.35.18.320
Application:
Has widely used in hydraulic systems in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, construction and broadly understood industry.
Principle of operation:
The 'counterbalance' valve is a specific combination of a typical actuator lock (VBPSE) with overflow valve (VMP). It is used to block the movement of the actuator piston rod in both directions. The movement of the actuator in the opposite direction is not secured. It ensures stabilization of the position of the piston rod when we do not control the distributor and large forces act on the actuator.
The valve lock stops working when we start controlling the hydraulic distributor or when the forces acting on the actuator are too high and, consequently, the pressure set on the valve will be exceeded.
Especially recommended for highly loaded actuators that generate back pressure towards the valve and work in series with a large number of movements. Recommended for use when OVERCENTER valves do not function properly, e.g. they cause the actuator to jump.
The valve can be used as a brake and blocking the rotation of the hydraulic motor. When we stop controlling the engine, the valve, without exposing the engine and the distributor to damage, will gradually brake the engine and then protect it against free rotation. The valve is able to brake and secure only one direction of rotation.
Connection:
Connect V1 and V2 to the supply lines, e.g. sections in a hydraulic distributor. Connect C1 and C2 to the receiver, e.g. a double-acting actuator.
The flow from V2 to C2 is completely blocked when there is no pressure on V1 and V2. The flow from V2 to C2 opens when pressure is applied to V1 or V2.
