The air bleeder is used to convert a double-acting cylinder into a single-acting cylinder.

To convert a double-acting cylinder into a single-acting cylinder, simply select vent with an appropriate thread and screw it into one of the two hydraulic outlets on the actuator.

As a rule, it is the upper exit, from the piston rod side.

The actuator converted in this way will work as a single-sided actuator.
