Principle of operation:
The overflow (safety) valve is used to stabilize and limit maximum pressure in the entire hydraulic system or a specific part of it. It performs a typical safety function during unpredictable overload of the hydraulic system. The valve is adjusted using a knob, and the settings can be secured using a lock nut. Connection: Connect both P ports to the hydraulic line where the pressure is to be controlled. Connect the T to the return line (overflow) to the oil tank. It has an additional port for connecting a pressure gauge.
