NCP81292 Hot Swap Smart Fuse onsemi NCP81292 Hot Swap Smart Fuse is a 50A electronically resettable in-line fuse for use in 12V bus rails and high current applications. This fuse allows for optimum thermal dissipation and protects the backplane or bus from collapsing. The NCP81292 smart fuse is integrated with a very low 0.65mΩ MOSFET to reduce solution size and minimize power loss. The device also integrates a highly accurate current sensor for monitoring and overload protection. The NCP81292 smart fuse features close loop operation during soft-start and ensures currents are close to each other during soft-start when paralleled. Some of the applications include servers, storage, and base stations.
