A clogged fuel filter blocks the free flow of fuel to the engine, causing difficulties in starting the engine, loss of power, and loss of smooth operation. and increased fuel consumption, as well as reduced efficiency of the fuel or injection pump. A clogged filter may also result in fuel leaking from the exhaust pipe, unpleasant smell of oil and smoke in the exhaust pipe. It is recommended to replace the fuel filter once a year or according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
