This horizontal connector saves space above the PCB by routing the mating cables sideways or joining the PCBs with a 90-degree connection (ideal for motherboard to daughterboard). The horizontal connector is available in pin counts up to 50 and is fully compatible with other Gecko-SL products. Other Gecko-SL connectors include female and male vertical through-hole and surface-mount versions.
